fall poetry

vi los archangels en mi manzana-a'rbol ayer por la noche
y todavĂ­a caminaron encendido
me preguntan donde he estado
porqué son las cosas que no tienen ninguna muerte
el solo puño apretado levantado y alista
cuál era él los motores dichos
el existir del cisne
amo mi hora del viento y de la luz
no puedo ahora decirle
cĂłmo como las estrellas es este el blanco, las caras sin nombre
las sombras ponen a lo largo de broadway
rosas y oro
de'bil-se va volando la canciĂłn
como águilas en colmo ascendente
