As a high school student in Waterloo, Iowa, Gail Gallagher was a regular attendee of No Shame Theatre at the nearby University of Northern Iowa. No Shame is an independent, somewhat underground series of performances whose first show was performed out of the back of a pick-up truck in 1986.
