sister poem

nunca había un sonido al lado de la madera pero de una
buena mujer
y como caminamos la hierba fue revuelta débilmente
todavía trece años
dentro de este sepulcro humilde un conqueror miente
vi los archangels en mi manzana-a'rbol ayer por la noche
deje el unsaid encantador de las palabras
el rodillo triste del tambor amortiguado tiene golpe
era el otoño del año
las sombras de las naves
